I’m pleased to share that my debut novel, Externalities, has been recognized as part of the 2026 CANREADS Awards.
As a first-time author, this recognition is especially meaningful. Externalities began as a retirement project and grew, over several years, into a story shaped by the people, places, and experiences that have influenced my life. To see it acknowledged alongside so many other Canadian works is both humbling and rewarding.
Writing this book has been an unexpected and deeply fulfilling journey. What started as an idea during retirement became an opportunity to reflect on family, ambition, and the choices that shape our lives over time.
I’m grateful to everyone who has taken the time to read the book, share their thoughts, and support its journey so far.
